Extract Leads from LinkedIn Posts

Claude reads LinkedIn post comments and reactions, pulls each profile, and adds qualified contacts to toflow automatically.

Extract Leads from LinkedIn Posts

A LinkedIn post with 200 comments is a warm lead list hiding in plain sight. Every person who commented engaged publicly with a topic connected to what you sell. The problem is that manually reviewing 200 profiles and writing a relevant message to each one is not realistic at any volume.

This workflow gives Claude the post URL. It reads every commenter, pulls their profile, and creates contact records in toflow with the context from what they wrote, so your outreach has a real starting point.

How to connect toflow with Claude

toflow.ai has a built-in MCP server that lets Claude control your LinkedIn outreach directly. It works with Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, or any MCP-compatible client.

Step 1: Connect your LinkedIn account to toflow

Log into the toflow app and go to Settings, then Accounts, then Connect LinkedIn. This is the account Claude will use to read post engagement on your behalf.

Step 2: Connect toflow to Claude Desktop

  1. Open Claude Desktop, go to Settings, then Connectors, then Add Custom Connector
  2. Set the Name to toflow.ai and the URL to https://mcp.toflow.ai/mcp, then save
  3. Click Connect. Claude will open a browser window to authorize your toflow account
  4. Once authorized, start a conversation. Claude can now extract post engagement, create contacts, and log everything in toflow

Using Cursor, Windsurf, or another MCP client? Add this to your config file instead:

{ "mcpServers": { "toflow": { "type": "http", "url": "https://mcp.toflow.ai/mcp" } } }

Once connected, paste the LinkedIn post URL into the conversation and Claude takes it from there.

What you give / What you get

What you give

  • A LinkedIn post URL (from a company page, thought leader, or competitor)
  • Criteria for who qualifies as a lead worth pursuing
  • Your preferred outreach tone and daily sending limits

What you get

  • Contact records in toflow for every qualifying commenter and reactor
  • The comment text saved alongside each contact for personalization context
  • Enriched email and phone via toflow's waterfall enrichment
  • Leads ready to enroll in a sequence or receive a connection request

What this workflow does automatically

Claude reads every comment and reaction on the post you provide. For each person, it pulls their profile, headline, and company alongside the text of what they wrote or the reaction they left. It creates a contact record in toflow for everyone who fits your criteria, with their LinkedIn URL and job details already filled in.

The timing is the advantage here. Reaching someone who commented two hours ago is a different conversation from a cold outreach with no context. The post gives you a natural starting point, and Claude pulls it directly from what they actually wrote.

Running this daily on a post that is still getting engagement means you catch new commenters as they appear, not a week later when the signal has gone cold. Claude detects duplicates and skips contacts already in toflow.

Once the contacts are created, toflow's enrichment finds verified email and phone numbers for each one. From there, you can enroll them in a sequence or have Claude send personalized connection requests referencing the post.

How teams use this workflow

Sales teams monitoring competitor content

When a competitor publishes a post that gets strong engagement, the commenters are people actively thinking about the problem you solve. Claude pulls every commenter, creates their contact record, and saves what they wrote. Your outreach opens with what they said on the post. That specificity gets replies that cold outreach does not.

Founders tracking industry conversations

If your ICP is active in a particular LinkedIn community or follows certain thought leaders, you can monitor those posts over time. Claude runs the extraction daily, builds up a list of engaged prospects, and enriches them automatically. You end up with a continuously growing list of people who have already demonstrated interest in the topic.

Agencies capturing leads from client-adjacent content

Events, product launches, and industry announcements generate LinkedIn engagement from people in active buying or research mode. Running this workflow on those posts captures them while the intent signal is fresh.

Step by step

  1. Paste the LinkedIn post URL into Claude
  2. Tell Claude your criteria: who qualifies as a lead worth contacting
  3. Claude reads all comments and reactions and identifies qualifying profiles
  4. Contact records are created in toflow with profile data and the comment text
  5. toflow's enrichment finds verified email and phone for each contact
  6. Enroll them in a sequence or send connection requests referencing the post

Best practices

Run this on posts where your ideal buyers are engaging, not just posts with high comment counts. A post with 30 relevant comments is more valuable than one with 300 generic ones.

Save the comment text. Claude includes it in the contact record. When you write your outreach, referencing what someone specifically said is what separates a personalized message from one that just uses their first name.

Schedule a daily re-run on posts that are still getting engagement. Intent signals go cold fast. Catching someone the same day they commented is materially better than a week later.

Review the qualifying criteria before each run. The tighter your definition of who counts, the more relevant the list you end up with.
